Prof. Jason Cong received the Outstanding Scientist Award from the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA (CAST-USA) at its 31st Annual Meeting and Global Innovation Summit October 14, 2023 in Irvine, CA. Past winners of this award including distinguished Chinese American scientists, including Prof. Shing-Tung Yau (Harvard University, Fields Medalist), late Prof. Shoucheng Zhang (Stanford University, recipient of the Dirac Award, and Yuri Basic Physics Prize and Franklin Medal), and Prof. Xiaowei Zhuang (Harvard University, recipient of the NAS Award for Scientific Discovery and Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences).
